Ben has been employed within the Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry for over 25 years. Throughout his various tenures, Ben has gained extensive managerial, operational, and technological knowledge of end-to-end post-production services, from Dailies to Digital Cinema Distribution; all of which encompass the secure handling and protection of pre-release / highly-sensitive / high-security informational assets.
Within ConvergentDS, Ben’s primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive Site and Cloud-based content protection consultancy services and conducting periodical assessments from leading security governing bodies in the Motion Picture/Home Entertainment industry; Trusted Partner Network, all the major Motion Picture Studios, Home Entertainment Companies, and regional Broadcasters. His duties involve thoroughly evaluating the security measures in place to protect intellectual property, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate solutions to safeguard informational assets and content media. Ben has consistently ensured that our content protection strategies are in line with industry standards and best practices.
In his consultancy role, Ben collaborates with various stakeholders to implement an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS) and content protection protocols required within the domains of; Organisational, Operational, Physical, and Technical Security. His insights and recommendations have been instrumental in enhancing the security frameworks of major Motion Picture Studios and numerous global companies.
Over the years, Ben has built a reputation for his meticulous attention to detail, deep understanding of content protection protocols required in end-to-end post-production service lines, and a proactive approach to emerging threats in the M&E landscape.
